The founder of the air and space museum was Joseph Henry. He was born on Dec. 17, 1797. He died on May 13, 1878. He became an American scientist. He was a pioneer of electromagnetism, motors, generators, and telegraph.
The started museum
The first Air and space museum started out in a warehouse full of aromatics. Most of the things in the museum now, came from the Aircraft Building that was built in 1918.
